Faculties
The Department of Management is one of the two academic departments under the School of Economics and Management, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. The Department currently offers three undergraduate programs, including Industrial Management, Energy Management, and the Advanced Program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management; one master’s program in Industrial Management; and one doctoral program in Industrial Management.
The Department of Management currently comprises 42 staff members, including 4 Associate Professors, 27 PhD holders, and 10 Master’s degree holders. The Department is organized into five specialized divisions: Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Energy Management and Sustainable Development, Management and Organization, and Marketing. Its faculty members are distinguished scholars and experienced experts in management, business, and technology, having received comprehensive training from leading universities both internationally and in Vietnam.
The Department of Management is committed to equipping learners with a strong foundation in management, professional expertise, digital competencies, and essential soft skills, along with an innovative mindset and a lifelong learning attitude to meet the evolving demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the digital economy. Energy Management and Sustainable Development Research Group was formed on the basis of the former Department of Energy Economics and the Department of Industrial Economics (2024). Currently under the Faculty of Management, School of Economics and Management, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the Group plays an important role in research and teaching in areas related to energy economics, energy management, and project management, meeting the growing demand for human resources and supporting the development of the energy sector. The Group also develops interdisciplinary collaborative research projects in the field of energy with both domestic and international partners. The Faculty of Business, under the School of Economics – Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), was established in September 2024 through the merger of several departments from the former School of Economics and Management. These include the Business Information and Analytics Division from the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Financial Management, the Department of Economics, and the Law Division from the Department of Management Science and Law. The School of Business currently has 39 faculty members (including 6 Associate Professors, 11 PhDs, 18 Masters, and 4 Bachelors). Many faculty members received their education and training at leading universities in advanced countries such as Japan, the UK, France, the Netherlands, Italy, and Russia, as well as at top universities in Vietnam.
