Speaker:
Kevin Tang is a research associate with the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group. He is also an associate research fellow at the Said Business School, Oxford University, a senior fellow at St Antony’s College, Oxford University, and a researcher with the Centre for Greening Finance and Investment. Previously, he has been a researcher with the Institute for New Economic Thinking, the Climate Econometrics Group at Oxford University, and with UK Research and Innovation Agency. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Oxford University, the University of Warwick, and the University of Buckingham.
His research interest are in climate change economics, development economics, and international trade and competition. His research is focused on economic transition on topics related to carbon accounting, uncertainty in climate models and projections, financial and policy risk in heavy industry and energy sectors, as well as long-run economic growth, comparative advantage in green technology, and spatial and geographic inequality.
