About the speaker:
Professor in the Department of Sociology: Methodology and Theory of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain). She is a member of the Complutense Institute of Sociology of the Study on contemporary social transformations (TRANSOC) and also of the Complutense Feminist Research Institute. Two of her most important research lines have been and are the gender occupational segregation and discrimination in the Spanish and European labor markets and corporate social responsibility of Spanish and European multinationals..
She has published a book, several book chapters and articles in scientific journals on these topics and also participated in eleven I+D+i research projects in the last sixteen years, some of them were: “Social Regulation of European Transnational Companies”; “Social Responsibility of multinationals in Spain: concept, actors and instruments”; “Women in a man´s world: barriers to enter and strategies to overcome them” and “Women in a man´s world: socialization, labor organization and image”.
